This is the part of the job most people aren’t trained for. When employee situations get complicated, I help you handle them properly.I support leaders and organizations navigating complex, sensitive, and high-risk employee situations, so they can respond clearly with confidence and empathy.
The hardest situations don’t follow a process. It’s when something feels off. When a performance issue doesn’t feel straightforward.
When a complaint or concern could escalate quickly.
When a leader is trying to do the right thing and but doesn’t want to make it worse. These situations are often handled too quickly, avoided for too long, or approached without enough context. And, that’s when things spiral.
Most of the situations that matter aren’t black and white.
They sit somewhere in the grey -where the process doesn’t fully apply and the right answer isn’t obvious. This is where experience comes in, knowing how to read the situation and respond in a way that actually moves things forward.I work with leaders and organizations navigating:• Performance issues that aren’t clear-cut
• Employee complaints and investigations
• Emotionally charged or sensitive situations
• Mental health - adjacent concerns at workI help you slow things down, get clear on what’s actually happening, and respond in a way that doesn’t create more problems. And sometimes, you just need someone to think it through with you before you act.I’m that sounding board, steady, blending practice with theory.
I’ve seen how these situations play out, and I can help you work through it in a way that feels clear, grounded, and manageable.Don’t Escalate. Navigate. If something feels unclear or high-stakes, it usually is.
Getting a second perspective early can make all the difference.
I’ve spent my career working in and alongside companies that are growing, changing, and dealing with the parts of people work that don’t fit neatly into a process. My background is in employee relations, investigations, and people operations, across global, distributed environments where things move quickly and situations aren’t always straightforward.Earlier in my career, I worked in social work with a focus on crisis and mental health support. That experience shaped how I approach this work - staying grounded in complex situations, reading what’s happening beneath the surface, and responding in a way that doesn’t escalate things further.Today, I bring that lens into a workplace context, alongside my experience supporting leaders through performance issues, complex employee concerns, restructuring, and moments where the stakes are high and the path forward isn’t obvious. What I’m known for is being able to step into those situations, make sense of what’s actually happening, and bring clarity that helps people move forward without creating more problems.I’m a certified Mental Health First Aid and Psychological Health & Safety advisor, which means I bring a grounded, human lens to the work, while staying firmly within a workplace context.I don’t approach this from theory or “best practice.”
I look at what’s real, what’s in front of you, and what will actually work in that moment.I support both leaders and organizations through:• 1:1 support for difficult or high-stakes conversations
• On-call advisory for complex employee situations
• Practical tools and frameworks for real-world useIf you’re dealing with something that feels unclear, sensitive, or high-stakes - I help you think it through and move forward with clarity, confidence and empathy.

If something feels off, don’t handle it alone. These situations are easier to navigate with the right support, especially before they escalate.Book a call and we can think it through together.
Please note: My work is advisory in nature. I provide guidance based on experience in employee relations, investigations, and workplace situations.I do not provide legal advice or clinical/mental health services. If a situation requires legal or emergency support, I will guide you toward the appropriate resources.
